Kristie has over 20 years experience in the advertising media industry. She has been recognized within the industry for her work, including winning MediaWeek’s Media Plan of the Year, speaking on digital panels and being honored by MINs Sweet 16 for Innovative Media Thinking.
Kristie has been a leader in developing new ways to look at media investments through media modeling (call them media algorithms) but her real passion is breaking out or media silos and working closely with agency teams (creatives to strategy and vendors) to collaborate and bring media ideas to life. With the media landscape changing daily, Kristie strives to find the best places for ideas to live whether it be paid, earned or simply created from scratch. Her category experience has ranged from good old American Brands such as Dickies (First time apparel sponsorship of YouTube Sensation RoadKill) Beer (Miller 2x and PBR!) to Seattle attractions such as Experience Music Project and Seattle Art Museum.
Kristie is no stranger to hearing the word no in the media world until she hears “yes”. Ask her about the ant farm that she negotiated to be put in the Alaska Airlines terminal in SEA TAC to promote CityU or the time she got HULU to change their ad units to promote a “Double Down” experience for her online gaming client.
Other clients include Nike, Holland America, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Microsoft, REI , Amazon and a whole lot of financial – among others.
